Data Privacy & Protection Policy

Effective 15 May 2026 · Last updated 15 May 2026

Cooshee Group ("we", "us", "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Cooshee Group is the data controller responsible for cooshee.org, gamers.cooshee.org, and any communications you initiate with us.

If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@cooshee.org.

What data we collect

This is a static website. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts on our sites. We do not use cookies.

We only receive personal data when you choose to give it to us — for example, when you email us at admin@cooshee.org or dpo@cooshee.org. That includes your name (if provided), your email address, and any information you include in the body of your message.

Why we use it

We use your data only to:

  • Reply to your enquiry
  • Carry out work you've engaged us for
  • Comply with our legal and accounting obligations

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Lawful basis for processing

Under GDPR, our lawful basis for handling the data you send us is one or more of:

  • Legitimate interest — to respond to enquiries and run our business
  • Contract — where we've agreed to provide a service to you
  • Consent — for anything else (always opt-in, never assumed)

Data retention

We keep correspondence only for as long as it's useful — typically the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting purposes (up to 7 years for invoices and contractual records).

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See "Your rights" below.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict how we process it
  • Port your data to another provider
  • Object to specific uses
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email dpo@cooshee.org. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Third parties

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically log basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and reliability purposes, governed by their own privacy policy.

We do not use any other third-party services that collect personal data on this site.

International transfers

Cloudflare operates a global network. Your request to our site may be served from a data centre outside the EU/UK. Cloudflare maintains appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, etc.) for international transfers.

Children's data

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first at dpo@cooshee.org so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted here with a new "Last updated" date.
